Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OntoHire (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OntoHire provides AI-powered behavioral assessments for hiring purposes. Employers invite candidates to complete scenario-based assessments, and we generate behavioral profile reports with trait scores, insights, and recommendations.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
  • Employer accounts require email verification via OTP.

4. Credits and Payments

  • New employer accounts receive 3 free assessment credits.
  • Additional credits can be purchased through our pricing plans.
  • Credits are consumed when a candidate completes an assessment.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable once used.
  • Unused credits do not expire.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of employment laws.
  • Attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or game the assessment system.
  • Share assessment questions or scoring methodology with candidates.
  • Use assessment results as the sole basis for employment decisions — results should supplement, not replace, your hiring process.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

6. Assessment Results

Assessment reports are generated using a combination of algorithmic scoring and AI analysis. While we strive for accuracy, results should be interpreted as one data point in a holistic hiring process. OntoHire does not guarantee the accuracy of personality predictions or role-fit assessments.

7. Intellectual Property

All assessment content, scoring algorithms, UI design, and platform technology are the intellectual property of OntoHire. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

OntoHire is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for hiring decisions made based on assessment results, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@ontohire.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
